Update: June 24, 2020

Dear BakerRipley Houston Turkey Trot Family,

We know for many of you, the Houston Turkey Trot is your way of supporting BakerRipley’s mission that keeps Houston a welcoming place of opportunity for more than half a million neighbors each year.  For others, the Turkey Trot has become a tradition. A way for your friends and family to start your Thanksgiving holiday together.

Our hope is to continue the tradition in 2020.

BakerRipley has been closely monitoring COVID-19’s impact across the region.  While there is uncertainty regarding our ability to bring you a live race event come November, we are committed to coming together as a community.

The 2020 BakerRipley Houston Turkey Trot will become a virtual event that’s filled with new, fun, and meaningful adventures. BakerRipley will continue planning for a live race event should it be possible and safe. And we will keep you informed along the way.

This year, the Turkey Trot will be dedicated to supporting BakerRipley’s COVID-19 response efforts. During the pandemic, our work – our mission – has not stopped.  Because of supporters like you, Houstonians can access critical resources and basic needs. We have seen first hand how our neighbors have been disproportionately impacted by this crisis. And your support through registrations and donations this year is helping families and individuals in our communities recover.

While we may not be able to come together as planned, we can stay connected.

We can make an impact.

On behalf of everyone at BakerRipley,  we thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.  We look forward to Trotting with you again.

Trot for Good.

Trot for Community.

Trot for Houston.
